When using a fleet or bank card, the authorization system automatically authorizes and processes the demand. Once a driver is authenticated, the authorization process starts where configurable rule sets are applied to verify if the driver is allowed to refuel/recharge.

When the transaction is valid, the response is communicated to the host, the payment terminal of POS, and the driver can proceed to refuel/recharge. To fully manage credit risk multiple authorization rules can be applier per customer/card.

To ensure and guarantee the highest security level for transactions the ICASA Suite uses an HSM (Hardware Security Module). It provides a secure, efficient and performant environment for generating strong cryptographic keys and performing cryptographic operations, including encryption, decryption, signing and verification. Sensitive data is encrypted the moment it is captured, in a point-of-sale (POS) device at a retail store, for example, and remains encrypted between systems and security domains.
