Established in 1994, Premier Marinas Ltd owns and operates several of the UK’s most prestigious marinas all based on the South Coast (Eastbourne Marina, Brighton Marina, Chichester Marina, Southsea, Port Solent, Gosport, Swanwick, Noss-on Dart, Falmouth Marina).
Premier’s core business is the wet and dry berthing of leisure craft and in combination, the marinas are able to offer over 5,000 berths. They also provide storage ashore for over 2,000 boats, in traditional cradles and through dry stack facilities. Alongside the boat storage services, all Premier marinas offer a fully serviced boatyard facility with modern boat lifting and boat moving equipment.

‘As we gradually work on enhancing our marinas as well as the services we offer, we have chosen to replace at the same time our tanks, pumps as well as our back-office system’, Hollie Luff CMM (Business Systems Manager at Premier Marinas) explains. ‘As we have a very diverse and demanding customer base – from all year or monthly berth holders to daily visitors – we were looking for a partner that was able to support us in our growth and especially in controlling the different rates of our fuel prices.’
End-to-end solution
‘We found a match in the ICASA-Tokheim team who provided an end-to-end solution to Premier Marinas. The ICASA Suite, the back and head office cloud solution of ICASA, interacts with our Marina Management System as well as the pump system and ensures the pricing of fuel is done properly. The ICASA Suite is finally allowing us to have flexibility in our rates for our various customers. We started out with 2 of our marinas, Gosport and Swanwick, and are now launching further marinas; which is a surprisingly smooth process. We are very impressed with the service we get from ICASA’
